Shipping
Every piece is made to order. Most leave the printer within two to five business days; framed plates can take a little longer. Delivery then usually takes three to eight business days within the United States, and one to three weeks elsewhere.
Shipping is quoted in your bag and shown again at checkout, before you pay. Orders are printed and posted by our fulfilment partner, Printful, from whichever of its facilities is nearest to you. A tracking link is sent when your parcel is on its way.
Orders going outside the country they are printed in may be charged import duties or taxes on arrival. These are set by the destination country and are the recipient’s to pay.
Returns & Replacements
Each piece carries your own sentence, so we cannot take back a piece because you have changed your mind, chosen the wrong size, or found a misspelling in the sentence you wrote. We print the words exactly as they are given, so please read your sentence and its figure carefully before you order.
If a piece arrives damaged, faulty or misprinted, write to us within 30 days of delivery with your order details and a photograph, and we will replace it or refund it at no cost to you. Parcels lost in the post are replaced in the same way.
Privacy
To make and deliver your order we keep your sentence, the items you chose, your name, shipping address, email address and telephone number. We use them only to fulfil and support your order, and share them only with the companies that make that possible.
Stripe takes your payment; your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach us. Printful prints and posts your order, so it receives your sentence, its artwork and your shipping details. Cloudflare hosts the small service that passes orders between them, and GitHub hosts this website.
We do not sell your information, and this site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Your bag is kept in your own browser until you check out. Order records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law require. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or removed where the law allows, write to us.
Terms
By placing an order you confirm that you are entitled to use the words you submit, and that they infringe no one’s rights. We may decline to print a sentence we consider hateful, obscene, defamatory or infringing; if we decline after you have paid, we will refund you in full.
The diagrams are drawn automatically by a set of grammatical rules. A sentence can sometimes be read more than one way, and the figure shows one reading; what you see in the preview is what we print. Colours on screen may differ slightly from colours in print.
Prices are in US dollars and include the making of the piece. Shipping, and any sales tax due, are added at checkout before you pay. Promotional codes, where offered, are entered at checkout.
